It figures, I finally get to see the Flyers live and in person this season and they have been eliminated from the playoffs and the team they are playing has been eliminated as well. Oh well, it is a Saturday night game and should be entertaining even if the outcome of the game is virtually meaningless.

As someone still dealing with dental surgery complications, I hope tonight is more fun by comparison.

At this point, go to see for yourself whom you would adjudge to be players they should keep, which players impress you, etc. Play the part of a scout and report your findings here later.

I think I would rather have dental surgery than watch that game in person

the gospel according to luke

http://www.philly.com/phi...etter_than_his_years.html

we've played ~ half a normal season so i will reserve judgement on the trade for another full season, but luke deserves a lot of credit for playing w/in himself and limiting his mistakes. his decision making has really improved and he's well on his way to fulfilling the potential he displayed when he was drafted. we knew about his physicality and ability to eat up huge minutes. def a good news story this yr.

Thanks, BiggE. I'm starting to have symptoms less frequently since my follow up on Wednesday. Still taking Sudafed though.

Still the sinus. Thanks, man.

Getting back to hockey, I'm glad Mason is in net, because if the Flyers get shut out blame will actually land where it's supposed to.

Amen Skip. Goaltending is the least of the problems on this team. Even Thursday vs NJ was in no way on Bryz. Or look at the 1-0 loss to Buffalo with Mason in goal. Zero offense.

high points of the year for flyers fans are definitely:

1. emergence of jake voracek
2. luke schenn's (better than advertised) play
